After School’s Lizzy announces her solo debut stage with “I’m Not An Easy Girl”

After School and Orange Caramel member Lizzy will make her solo debut as a trot singer with “I’m Not An Easy Girl,” through the KBS1 singing program National Singing Contest on January 17th!

On January 7th, Pledis Entertainment revealed that “Lizzy, who has been preparing her solo debut since last year, will make a comeback on the 17th through the National Singing Contest.” This will be the second time for a K-pop idol to appear on the program since Crayon Pop, as the show is typically catered to an older audience.

Lizzy had a successful year in 2014 with her activities as Orange Caramel, with singles like “Catallena” and “My Copycat.” She is looking forward to an even busier year in 2015 with her upcoming solo debut, as well as her new role as MC in OliveTV’s Tasty Road.

With this entrance into the trot genre, Lizzy hopes to gain the attention of older viewers and establish her fans in all age categories.

After her first performance on the 17th, she will release the digital single for “I’m Not An Easy Girl” on January 23rd and begin her solo promotions.

Look out for Lizzy’s debut stage on the TV broadcast of National Singing Contest, which will air on January 25th!
