Security Guard Gets Brutally Attacked By Fans At Pop-Up
A security guard was recently attacked at a pop-up event in Seoul on April 29. While past incidents have had fans complain of rough security guards, fans claim that this incident was entirely instigated by a couple of Chinese fans who had been at a pop-up store.
The area was particularly crowded that day with Stray Kids opening their pop-up as other events with SEVENTEEN and Byeon Woo Seok. As such, they had not allowed fans to bring stools to stand on or sit on in the line. According to other fans who had been present, the security guards that day were all extremely friendly and had initially approached the Chinese fans politely, asking them to put away the chairs.
As the Chinese fans refused, things got ugly. The security guard took the chairs away, with the fans giving chase.

The fans can be heard yelling at the guards in accented Korean, calling them “idi*tic b*stards.”

The fan used the chair to hit the security guard. A fan filmed the entire encounter and sent the video to the security guard as evidence. Other fans chimed in quickly, criticizing the fans for their actions. Thankfully the situation ended after the police was called.
