“Retired” Actress Shows Off Ageless Visual For The First Time In 5 Years In A Rare Update
In a rare Instagram update, actress Suh Min Jung (Seo Min Jeong) gave her fans a glimpse of her life in the U.S. as an unofficially retired actress-turned-mom.
Captioned from her “summer album,” Suh Min Jung shared a slide of photos, including one of herself. The last time she uploaded a recent photo (and not something from her acting era or her fans) was in 2020, so this is—at least on Instagram—the first time in five years that the actress has unveiled her face.

In my summer album, I only have a few photos besides the places I go every day. Not that many people probably want to see them, but… I’m posting them for the small number who do. It’s been such a long time since I uploaded a photo of myself. I don’t know why it takes so much courage just to share one little update. My apologies in advance to anyone who might not like it. Photos from my birthday dinner with my husband and daughter…

While the actress sounded uncertain about how her followers would react to the update, the photos have been much warmly received. Her ageless visual, barely changed since her High Kick days in 2006, has left her fans stunned.
Suh Min Jung married a Korean American dentist, Ahn Sang Hoon, back in 2007, right after the end of her most beloved K-Drama High Kick. She moved to the U.S. immediately after the wedding, marking her “retirement” from the entertainment business, and gave birth to a daughter in 2008.
While she is regularly named one of the Korean actresses we won’t ever get to see act again, Suh Min Jung showed interest in a comment suggesting that she tries YouTube.

Suh Min Jung: My life is pretty simple so it might be boring… but if you’re okay with that, once my daughter’s back in school after break, I’ll try filming one alone. Though… I can’t edit either, haha.
