Actress Seol In Ah sustained an injury while filming the tvN variety show Steel Unit: Female Warriors 2.
According to News1 on August 5, Seol injured her ankle during a recent shoot for the show. Filming was halted immediately, and she was transported to the hospital for treatment. Although she initially had difficulty moving, she is now undergoing outpatient care and is in the process of recovery.
The Steel Unit: Female Warriors 2 production team stated that she will be resting while monitoring her condition.
“Seol In Ah felt discomfort in her ankle during filming and was taken to the hospital. She was advised to receive physical therapy and rest. While no bone fractures were found, the discomfort persists, so she will continue treatment while monitoring her condition.”
Whether Seol In Ah will return to the program remains undecided. Seol previously appeared in Season 1 of Steel Unit: Female Warriors alongside Uee, Park Joo Hyun, and Jin Seo Yeon, where they took on extreme triathlon challenges, leaving a lasting impression on viewers.
Following its positive reception, Steel Unit: Female Warriors was renewed for a second season, which premiered on July 11. This season features boxing instead of triathlon, and Seol has been praised for her impressive boxing skills, playing a key role in the show’s popularity.
