Seungri Reportedly Confirmed To Enlist In The Military On March 6

He was originally supposed to enlist a year ago.

Seungri, a former member of BIGBANG, will be officially enlisting in the military and reports claim he’ll be enlisting in a matter of weeks.

His official enlistment date is reportedly set for March 6, which is only 2 weeks away. Reports stated that he has been quietly preparing for his enlistment and will be reporting to the 6th Division Recruitment Center.

The Military Manpower Association (MMA) sent him his admissions notice on February 4, requesting that he report for enlistment on March 6. Seungri decided not to further postpone his enlistment and decided to report for his mandatory duties.

To impose a fair military service requirement, a notice of enlistment was sent to Seungri when his investigation ended. He submitted a response claiming that he will enlist under the same conditions as the general public once his investigations were over.

This was due to the nature of how long-term trials in private courts could impede on military services.

Seungri was originally scheduled to enlist in March of last year but had to postpone after a series of scandals surrounding him and his affiliates, including his label YG Entertainment and Yang Hyun Suk, shocked the world.

He was most recently accused of illegal habitual gambling alongside Yang Hyun Suk. It appears Seungri will finally be enlisting in the military as his investigations continue to come to a conclusion.
