SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi Tests Positive For COVID-19

We hope he gets better soon!

K-Pop idol group SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi has confirmed positive for COVID-19. Pledis Entertainment released an official statement regarding Hoshi and the group’s future schedule adjustments.

Hello, this is Pledis Entertainment. We are here to you inform you on SEVENTEEN Hoshi’s positive COVID-19 result and future schedule adjustments. Hoshi had a cough and sore throat on the afternoon of March 2 and tested positive after using a self-diagnosis kit. He immediately took a PCR test and received a positive test result on the morning of March 3. He is currently experiencing no other symptoms besides a cough and a sore throat and is currently receiving at-home treatment.

All other SEVENTEEN members except for Wonwoo and Vernon, took a preemptive self-diagnosis kit and received a negative result and there were no abnormal symptoms. Due to this, Hoshi will not be able to participate in SEVENTEEN’s future schedules for the time being. We will inform you about his schedule once he resumes activities.

We put the artist’s health as our top priority, and we will do our best to support him in treatment and recovery so that Hoshi can meet his fans in a healthy state. In addition, we will faithfully cooperate with the requests and guidelines of the quarantine authorities.
