SEVENTEEN’s Joshua Shows Love For Fellow Members On Weverse In First Messages Sent Since Dating Allegations

It shows just how close the members are.

In the week and a half or so since SEVENTEEN‘s Joshua has been caught up in dating allegations with model Cho Mi Young, the K-Pop idol has been quiet on social media, including fan app Weverse. Fans have been concerned for his well-being with all of the backlash he has faced because of it, especially after he recently appeared in public looking noticeably worn out.

SEVENTEEN’s label, Pledis Entertainment, hasn’t made any public announcement about the allegations, and Joshua himself hasn’t confirmed or denied anything either. And the majority of fans are fine with this — it’s his private life, after all, and it appears to only be the loud minority that have been so outspoken against him.

On August 17, he finally broke his silence on Weverse to show support for his fellow members Seungkwan and S.Coups. Seungkwan recently shared an update with fans about his ongoing hiatus and how he’s been doing, to which Joshua shared the following message.

Waiting for you, Kwan-ah. I love you.

SEVENTEEN’s leader S.Coups, meanwhile, recently tore his ACL, a serious injury which could take a long time to heal. He came onto Weverse after his diagnosis to reassure fans and promise to take care of himself, to which Joshua left the following comment.

Come back healthy, Coups-yah. And eat a lot of yummy stuff while you’re recovering.

His Weverse comments ended up being a topic of conversation on a forum post, where netizens left comments of support towards Joshua and also sympathized with his situation.

We hope that Joshua is taking care of himself during this undoubtedly stressful time!
