SEVENTEEN Will Not Be Participating In BigHit Entertainment’s First Ever Family Concert

They will be sitting this one out.

It has been announced that SEVENTEEN will not be participating in the upcoming BigHit Label joint concert. Previously, it was announced that BigHit Entertainment would be hosting an online and offline concert simultaneously at the end of the year.

Fans were expecting to see BTS, GFRIEND, TXT, ENHYPHEN, NU’EST and SEVENTEEN at the joint concert. However, on 11 November 2020, it was officially announced that SEVENTEEN would be unable to join the 2021 New Years’ Eve Live as presented by Weverse.

It was announced that SEVENTEEN had an schedule planned earlier, and would be unable to attend the concert. As it was their first family concert, schedules were attempted to be negotiated but at the end of discussion, it was decided that SEVENTEEN would not participate in the 2021 New Years’ Eve Live.

According to BigHit Entertainment’s announcement, the 2021 New Year’s Eve Live will be presented by Weverse on December 31 this year. The concert is set to start on New Year’s Eve and carry through to a countdown at midnight KST. The agency has also planned an offline concert with limited seating, subject to government regulations.
