SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan Shares Personal Clips Of ASTRO’s Moonbin In Touching New Cover Video

The cover is absolutely beautiful!

On January 16, SEVENTEEN‘s Seungkwan celebrated his 26th birthday, with fans worldwide sharing messages of love and celebration for the idol.

Last year, Seungkwan treated fans to a special birthday cover of Girls’ Generation Taeyeon‘s “Time Lapse.” Fans were excited when it was revealed he would be continuing this year by posting a cover of Choi Yu Ree‘s “Shape,” along with a self-edited music video.

This year’s cover left many emotional as Seungkwan included clips of many of those important to him, including his mother and dog, his groupmates, and CARATs.

Also included in several clips was ASTRO‘s Moonbin, a close friend of the idol.

Seungkwan has continually shared tributes to Moonbin since his passing, so it is no surprise the SEVENTEEN member included his close friend in his special video. Clips show the two idols doing things together, like making a cute heart or messing around while lounging at home.

Other clips of the idols include a funny behind-the-scenes of a photobook shoot, and them doing everyday activities like biking. Seungkwan also included clips of VIVIZ‘s Umji and SinB, Lee Suji, and IMFACT’s Ungjae, other members of the 98-liners, WekiMeki‘s Yoojung, and Moonbin’s sister, Billlie‘s Moon Sua, in his video.

The video also had solo videos of Moonbin, including his own birthday celebration.

Seungkwan included a video of the moon as his final clip, another likely reference to Moonbin.

In a letter to the ASTRO member, Seungkwan promised to “relive memories” of Moonbin with those who love him so his “memory isn’t ever faded,” and fans believe this was a beautiful way of doing so.

Happy birthday, Seungkwan, and thank you for sharing these precious videos with everyone!
