Netizens Suspect An Iconic ’98 Line Reunion Is In The Works

Any fan of K-Pop is probably aware of the iconic ’97-line squad, which includes icons like BTS‘s Jungkook, GOT7‘s BamBam and Yugyeom, ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo, NCT‘s Jaehyun, and SEVENTEEN‘s Mingyu.

But while ’97-line idols might have the most well-known friend group, ’98-line idols have also been seen spending time together, creating iconic friend groups of their own. Members of one ’98-line friend group seem to include NCT’s Jungwoo, Stray Kids‘ Lee Know, THE BOYZ‘s Juyeon, SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan, and ATEEZ‘s Seonghwa and Hongjoong.

And now netizens believe that a reunion between four ’98-line idols is in the works since they’ve spotted SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan, ASTRO’s Moonbin, and VIVIZ‘s Umji and SinB filming together.

Netizens believe they are filming for an upcoming episode of the well-known MMTG series since, in a previous episode, MC Jaejae suggested that someone “made a desperate reservation.”

And while many fans were distracted by Seungkwan’s new orange hair color…

Fans can’t wait to see the upcoming episode featuring all four idols.

Seungkwan, Moonbin, Umji, and SinB had previously appeared together, along with IMFACT‘s Ungjae and UNI.T‘s Suji when Umji was a host of NOW Radio‘s “Aven-girls.”

Fans loved their chemistry in the episode and hoped to see more of the ’98 friends.

Needless to say, although they do wish Ungjae and Suji were able to join, fans are incredibly excited about the upcoming episode of MMTG.
