SEVENTEEN’s Wonwoo Tests Positive For COVID-19
With South Korea being struck with rising COVID-19 cases following the omicron variant, the entertainment industry has not been spared either. As multiple celebrities test positive, the latest confirmed case belongs to boy group SEVENTEEN‘s Wonwoo.
In a statement on Weverse, PLEDIS Entertainment advised fans regarding the unfortunate news. Wonwoo experienced some flu-like symptoms on February 11, 2022, and proceeded to take s self-test kit. He also took a PCR test for good measure. He was confirmed to have the virus on February 12, 2022.
While the other members of the group did not come into contact with him during the period, Hoshi was a close contact of Wonwoo and is now awaiting his PCR test results. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
