SF9’s Rowoon In Talks For Fantasy Office K-Drama With Veteran Actress Kim Hee Sun
SF9‘s Rowoon has been tapped for yet another drama. This time, it will once again be a webtoon-turned-drama, Tomorrow.
According to media reports, Rowoon has been cast as the male lead opposite veteran actress, Kim Hee Sun. Hinge Entertainment stated to media that Kim Hee Sun was currently considering the role of the female lead after receiving the offer.
Similarly, FNC Entertainment reported that the role is one of the few that Rowoon has received and that he is reviewing the offer.
Tomorrow is an office fantasy that is set between the real world, and the underworld. If she accepts, Kim Hee Sun will be playing the role of a grim reaper, Gu Ryeon, who is also a team leader in the Underworld’s management office.
As for Rowoon, he will be the maknae of the management office team, Choi Jun Woong. He is part of the Crisis Management Team. Together, the grim reapers will try to prevent suicides in the real world.
Tomorrow is set to start filming in the later half of 2021, and will air in the earlier half of 2022.
This is definitely Rowoon’s year. After he saw success with Extraordinary You, Rowoon starred in She Would Never Know as a plucky fresh entry at a cosmetics company, chasing after his superior at work.
