Actress Shin Min Ah and actor Kim Seon Ho have been confirmed to take lead roles in upcoming tvN romance drama Sea Village Cha Cha Cha.
According to tvN‘s press release made today, the have confirmed Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho will be the lead roles in the drama. Sea Village Cha Cha Cha depicts a back and forth romance between the realist dentist Yoon Hye Jin (played by Shin Min Ah) and the all-rounded unemployed man Hong Ban Jang (played by Kim Seon Ho) at a sea village filled with salty people.
Shin Min Ah will play the role of Yoon Hye Jin, a dentist with perfect specs who was born with both talent and beauty, but has a few loose ends hidden inside of her. Her character falls apart in life due to the 2% of righteousness inside of her, and after many twists and turns, she ends up at the sea village and meets Hong Ban Jang.
Kim Seon Ho will play the role of Hong Ban Jang, an unemployed man who has fantastic visuals and is equipped with fantastic software (brains). His name is actually Hong Doo Shik, but the people of the village call him Hong President (Hong Ban Jang), as he is sure to appear and help someone in need if something happens in the sea village.
The perfect rom-com lineup has been completed. Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho are surprisingly in sync with the characters, and the warm story will stand out and provide healing to the viewers.

The drama will be directed by Yoo Je Won, who worked on Oh My Ghostess and Tomorrow, with You. It will be written by Shin Ha Eun, who helped write The Crowned Clown. It is scheduled to air in the second half of 2021.
