Shindong Reveals The Drastic Methods He Used To Lose Nearly 70lbs In 3 Months

Rule #1: Don’t exercise.

Super Junior‘s Shindong appeared on a radio show where he opened up about his recent drastic weight loss transformation. He shocked everyone when he revealed that he lost 31kg (68lbs) since he started his diet back in October!

When I weighed myself this morning, I had lost 31kg in total so far. I started at 116kg and now I’m around 85kg.

I weigh myself twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. I wake up, go to the bathroom, and weigh myself. I weigh myself before bed too. It’s hard trying to keep my weight the same from morning to night.

He then went on to describe how he was able to lose all that weight. He pointed out key important factors in his weight loss regimen. First, you have to eat an equal amount of food for each meal, you have to get a good night’s sleep, and you need to pace your meals throughout the day!

You have to eat an equal amount of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I lose a lot of weight while sleeping. It’s important for me to lose weight in the morning, maintain it, lose more the next day, maintain it, lose more, and continue like that.

But I sleep early and get up early. I sleep around 11pm and wake up at 7am. They say it’s important to sleep at least 8 hours. It’s good to have 5 hours in between breakfast, lunch, dinner, and sleep.

Surprisingly, Shindong confessed that he did not work out to lose weight. Part of the reason was because he wanted to show others that it can be done, and he also didn’t want people to get “suspicious”.

To be honest, I deliberately avoided working out. I want to show people that you can lose weight also by not working out. You can lose weight faster if you exercise but people get suspicious if I lose weight too fast.

He explained that people in his industry can get accused of using plastic surgery to lose weight or change their appearances. Shindong boasted that he has proof that he’s only been losing weight naturally by keeping booked and busy!

A lot of people in my industry go on diets. They too would rest for a bit and come back after losing weight but people would be suspicious of them.

I’m purposefully going on broadcast shows every day. I want to show them that I’m losing weight on a daily basis.
