SHINee’s Minho Shocks With His Way Of Overcoming Illnesses
SHINee’s Minho shocked everyone with the way he overcomes illnesses.
On the 2nd, SHINee’s Minho appeared as a guest in a video uploaded on the “TEO” YouTube channel. Known for his exercise addiction, Jang Do Yeon asked, “People usually say this, don’t they? That Minho’s physical abilities go beyond just liking exercise. Do you often have minor illnesses? With all this talk about the flu going around, how about you?”
In response, Minho said, “I can’t remember the last time I caught a cold, recently.” Jang Do Yeon was puzzled, asking, “You do remember though, right?” Minho replied, “Honestly, it hasn’t happened within the last five years.”
Jang Do Yeon then asked, “You know what cold symptoms are, right?” Minho replied shockingly, “When I feel even the slightest sign coming on, I move my body more to get rid of it.”
Jang Do Yeon was surprised, “Usually when a cold virus hits, don’t you rest or take medicine?” Minho explained, “I think resting just lets the virus grow inside and makes the body hurt more. To get rid of it, you have to move more. Like saying, ‘Do you really think you can enter my body?’”
Upon hearing this, Jang Do Yeon shook her head, calling it “madness, madness,” and asked, “So what do you do? Exercise more?” Minho said, “I exercise more, move more, and then I actually feel fine. I never take medicine.”
Jang Do Yeon joked, “I don’t think the medical association would be too happy about this,” and Minho clarified, “Of course, taking a moderate amount of medicine is good, but I’m not someone who prefers that.” He added jokingly, “Ah, my mom’s going to scold me again. Whenever I say this, she tells me not to talk nonsense and always hands me medicine.”
Jang Do Yeon sided with the mother, saying, “That’s what medicine is for,” but Minho firmly said, “But I never take it. After sweating it out, I sleep and wake up completely fine.”
Moreover, he said he never even caught COVID-19. Jang Do Yeon was surprised, asking, “Maybe it was asymptomatic?” Minho replied, “I thought so too, and about a year and a half ago during a health check-up, they did a blood test and told me, ‘You haven’t had COVID-19.’ It shows up in blood tests.” He joked, “I wonder if I dodged COVID or COVID dodged me,” adding laughter to the conversation.
