SHINee’s Taemin Nearly Forgets His Award When Going Up To Recieve It At 2024 ASEA

Don’t worry, he got it!

On April 10, The 2024 Asia Star Entertainer Awards (ASEA) was held for the first time in Yokohama, Japan. This new awards show was launched by Newsen and star1 Magazine to celebrate the top K-Pop artists and Asian singers who have made an impact over the last year.

SHINee‘s Taemin was the true star of the night. NCT WISH covered “Lucifer” as part of an SM Entertainment medley.

Taemin himself performed some of his solo hits from his latest album, “The Rizzness” and “Guilty.” He proved to be the idol of idols, as the crowd cheered.

Taemin also won not one but two awards. He was awarded “The Best Conceptual Artist Award (Solo)” and “The Best Performance Award (Solo).”

Despite receiving so much love and recognition, Taemin proved to be as down-to-earth as ever. When he went up to accept his first award, he continued walking straight past the award. He quickly realized his mistake and gave a thumbs-up to the cameras before picking it up.

That wasn’t the only awkward moment Taemin fell victim to. When STAYC got up to accept their award, he managed to trip while he was standing for their win.
