After the success of the first series, Netflix recently returned with Single’s Inferno 2. With new contestants looking for love, it isn’t surprising that everyone is on the lookout for information about the cast.
One of the most popular contestants with netizens is Lee So E. From the minute she arrived, she gained attention for her innocent visuals and sweet personality.
Unlike many of the other contestants, So E hasn’t had the best of luck with love. After arriving on the island, she instantly fell for Yoong Jae but was turned down. However, netizens have hopes that the newest arrival, Se Jun, might be the perfect fit for So E.
Yet, along with both netizens and the hosts of the show feeling sorry for So E, as one of the fan favorites, she is also gaining attention for her activities outside the world of Single’s Inferno 2.
In particular, the contestant seems to have an unexpected connection to idol BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo and her breakout role in the K-Drama Snowdrop.
In 2021, despite the controversies surrounding the show’s storyline, Jisoo and actor Jung Hae In captured the hearts of netizens with their story of forbidden love.
But what does that have to do with So E?
As So E hasn’t been to “Paradise” yet, netizens have yet to know what the contestant does for a living. Of course, that is a challenge for netizens who quickly discovered that So E is actually a budding actress.
On TikTok, a netizen recently revealed that while they were watching Jisoo’s iconic show Snowdrop, So E was actually in one of the scenes.
While the scene was short, it seemingly was from episode five, where all the students were gathered just before being made to stand in a line.
When the video was released, many couldn’t believe that So E was in such a huge K-Drama. Others added that if she were an aspiring actress, her company would likely have pushed the Single’s Inferno appearance for exposure.
Yet, it isn’t the first time that So E has appeared in shows.
More recently, So E has had a more major role in the First Responders. In the series, she played one of the victims and showcased more of her visual and acting skills.
Last year, the contestants of the show saw their fame rocket, and the exposure allowed them to have new opportunities. Even if So E doesn’t find her “Mr. Right,” hopefully, she can progress her career and showcase her talent.
