In his bio, Kim Se Jun reveals that he is a tailor for the brand Ascottage. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because it’s the brand owned by the series one contestant Oh Jin Taek, who is the CEO and style advisor.

On both Kim Se Jun and the brand’s Instagram accounts, there are numerous pictures of the duo together, proving that they are probably true besties.

Yet, Kim Se Jun isn’t the first Single’s Inferno 2 contestant to have a link to the previous series. When the show first started airing, the first woman introduced was Shin Seul Ki.

While many believed she resembled Shin Ji Yeon from the first series, the two seemingly knew each other after it was discovered that they had both competed in pageants.

In particular, in 2020, both Shin Seul Ki and Shin Ji Yeon were pictured together in a group photo of The 90th Miss Chunhyang Pageant finalists below.

While many are hoping Kim Se Jun’s personality is different from his friend, it will be interesting to see if their friendship is brought up during the series.
