In Episode 8, viewers’ dislike for Min Ji grew. They were taken aback by her flirtatious behavior with Lee Gwan Hee and her revealing pajamas that many deem “lingerie.”

Min Ji also shocked viewers with her “cringy” and “disrespectful” behavior in Episode 9. Not only did she cry after ranking third place in the women’s game, but she failed in her attempt to flirt with Lee Gwan Hee during the helicopter ride to Paradise. While she likes Gwan Hee, her date was Park Min Kyu. So, she was trying to flirt with someone else’s date. When Gwan Hee rejected her flirting out of respect for his date, Choi Hye Seon, Min Ji started crying again.

While viewers often voice their opinions via social media apps, such as X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok, some have gone directly to Instagram in Min Ji’s comment section. Many are calling her out for her behavior and referring to her as a “Pick-me girl,” a term used for a woman who is “obsessed with gaining men’s attention or acceptance.”

Some netizens have jumped to Min Ji’s defense, advising others against cyber-bullying her. All of Min Ji’s Instagram posts have been flooded with negative comments directed at her.

The hate comments have gotten so bad that Min Ji has limited the comments on her posts so that no more comments can be added. Still, many comments, predominantly negative, remain.
