SM Entertainment Gives Update On The Health Condition Of NCT 127's Johnny, Jaehyun And Jungwoo Post-Accident

NCT 127‘s Jaehyun, Johnny, and Jungwoo were recently injured on a filming site. They had fallen from a 2m high jungle gym structure during commercial filming. SM Entertainment advised through an official statement that they were being treated at a hospital.

We are relaying news regarding NCT’s Johnny, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo’s injuries.

On Friday, Johnny, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo suffered injuries due to the set’s jungle gym collapsing. The members were transferred to the hospital immediately and are currently receiving treatment and examinations but will need to be examined further.

Fans were enraged at the neglect on the part of the commercial production team as well as SM Entertainment. An image of the commercial site was released, causing fans to exclaim at the flimsy structure.

Following the first statement, SM Entertainment has updated fans on the medical condition of the boys.

Hello. This statement is regarding the matter concerning NCT’s Johnny, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo.

Johnny, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo, who were in an accident while filming for a commercial on Dec 9, 2022, have undergone a detailed examination at the hospital. Apart from minor bruising, they were thankfully diagnosed to be without other abnormalities and have been sent home. But the company plans on placing the members’ health as a priority, and they will be resting to prevent any after-effects.

As such, we will be postponing the pre-recording for SMTOWN LIVE: SMCU PALACE @KWANGYA, originally scheduled for December 13, until further notice, taking into account the members’ stability and recovery. We request your understanding and will update you about it at a later date.
