SM Entertainment’s Most Popular Groups? Exposed Sales Data Sparks Huge Shock
New sales data from Ktown4U regarding SM Entertainment‘s 2026 Season’s Greetings merchandise per group has sparked intense reactions among Korean netizens.
The data reveals which SM Entertainment artists continue to dominate fan purchases.

The numbers, which spread rapidly on TheQoo, offered a rare look into the relative buying power of each fandom — and the results surprised nearly everyone.

In terms of units sold, NCT DREAM took the lead with 8,114 sets, followed closely by NCT WISH with 7,858. Super Junior secured the third spot with 7,364 votes, demonstrating their enduring fan power despite being one of SM’s longest-running acts.

Red Velvet also impressed, selling 6,691 units, while RIIZE sold 6,251 despite their Season’s Greetings being priced higher than others. aespa followed with 2,974 units sold, still generating massive revenue thanks to their higher price point.

Fans were particularly taken aback by Super Junior and Red Velvet’s performance, with many praising their strong and loyal fandoms. Others were shocked by the relatively low sales of NCT 127, who sold fewer than 3,000 units — less than several senior and rookie groups.

- “Out of everyone, Super Junior seems the most impressive.”
- “Super Junior and Red Velvet are seriously amazing…”
- “Wow, Super Junior and Red Velvet’s sales are insane, haha. I knew NCT Dream was popular, but they’re ranked #1? Super Junior, Red Velvet, and Dream… even with the big difference in debut years, their core fandoms are massive. RIIZE’s set was expensive but still sold well, haha. I didn’t realize 127 sold less than some girl groups or Chinese teams. The gap between Dream and NCT WISH’s fandoms is huge.”
- “Super Junior and Red Velvet’s results are shocking.”
- “Super Junior and Red Velvet are really on another level…”
