SM Entertainment truly has some of the most talented idols, and groups like Super Junior, NCT, aespa, Red Velvet, TVXQ, and many more were represented. With so many amazing idols, fans were excited when announcements about collaborations were posted, but with some fearing that it would bring empty promises.

Yet, when clips came out, it seemed like fans were really treated to so many amazing collaborations, whether it was aespa’s Winter and Red Velvet’s Wendy…

NCT’s Jaehyun and Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon…

There was even an adorable and unexpected trio of TVQX’s Changmin, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, and RIIZE’s Shotaro.

There were even moments of seeing full groups working together, whether it was NCT WISH and Super Junior or TVXQ with RIIZE.

When all the videos were posted, netizens couldn’t get over the actual collaboration stages. In the past, some SMTOWN events, and especially music shows, have been criticized for promoting “collaboration” stages just for them to be disconnected and awkward.

With another show set for February 22, it will be interesting to see if fans get any different collaboration stages.
