Son Ye Jin’s Instagram Suddenly Deleted, Netizens Blame Malicious Comments

An alternate SNS account that had been sharing glimpses of actress Son Ye Jin’s daily life suddenly disappeared, prompting her agency to release a statement. She previously created the account @yejinfoot_official in order to share more about her personal life with fans.

The account was run separately from her usual @yejinhand account. On August 27, 2025, a representative from Son Ye Jin’s agency, MSTeam, released a statement about the sudden deletion.

“It was not deleted by the actress herself. She also doesn’t know why it disappeared, so we are checking what went wrong. We are looking into various possibilities — whether it was hacked or perhaps automatically blocked due to recent AI-related issues. Once the cause is identified, the account will be restored, but we’re not sure how long it will take.”

Some speculated that Son Ye Jin might have deleted the account due to mental strain from malicious comments following a joke by actor Lee Byung Hun during the There’s Nothing We Can Do press conference. However, the agency clarified that the issue is unrelated to that controversy and appears to be a separate technical problem.

Meanwhile, Son Ye Jin departed from Incheon International Airport on the morning of August 27 to attend the Venice International Film Festival for the promotion of her new film There’s Nothing We Can Do.
