In the post, Son Yeon Jae uploaded several photos from her wedding. The former Olympian married a non-celebrity in 2022.
Notably, Son Yeon Jae uploaded photos of her husband as well as a picture of her engagement ring. News outlets reported that this was the first time that she had unveiled her partner.
Meanwhile, Son Yeon Jae is a household name in Korea. She shot to fame for her accomplishments as a national gymnast, winning the All-around category during the 2014 Asian Games and winning bronze in the category in the 2010 Asian Games.
She is the first and only South Korean individiual rhythmic gymnast to win a metal at the World Championships, FIG World Cup series, Universiade, and the Asian Games.
