Recently, the famous Song triplets from The Return Of Superman made a guest appearance on tvN’s You Quiz On The Block with their father, actor Song Il Gook.
While the triplets were a hot topic for their shocking growth spurt, Song Il Gook gained attention for his love story with his wife, Judge Jung Seung Yeon.
Song Il Gook Shares How They Named The “The Return Of Superman” Triplets
With the triplets becoming a hot topic once again, popular episodes and incidents from The Return Of Superman began resurfacing online. One in particular, known as the “dumpling incident”, has garnered quite the attention!
The so-called “dumpling incident” is when Song Il Gook ordered a total of ten plates (10 pieces each) of dumplings and two pans of buckwheat noodles and argued that they all ate equally when in fact he ate about roughly 70 dumplings.
Song would consistently give them each a dumpling, while eating one for himself in between.

With this, netizens also remembered the “fish-cake incident” where the four of them ate a total of 16 fish sticks, but with each of the triplets only eating two each.
