Actress Song Ji Hyo recently opened up about her honest thoughts on marriage, surprising fans with her mature and realistic outlook.
On the latest episode of Cheers With Shin Dong Yup on YouTube, Song Ji Hyo appeared alongside actor Kim Byung Chul. During a candid chat about relationships, host Shin Dong Yup commented that Song Ji Hyo didn’t seem interested in marriage. But the actress quickly set the record straight.
“It’s not that I don’t want to get married. If someone respects my lifestyle, I’d want to be with them forever.”
She shared that while she’s open to marriage, she values her independence and routine too much to let external factors disrupt her peace.
“I think love is about sharing intersections in life, not completely merging into one. Even if we don’t fit perfectly, I’m okay with someone who doesn’t interfere with my way of living.”
Song also expressed that she’d be open to spending her life with the right one without the need to marry. Song remains the only OG Running Man cast members who has yet to get married or are in a public relationship. While she didn’t announce wedding bells anytime soon, fans agreed that when Song Ji Hyo does meet someone who truly respects her, it’ll be a match worth waiting for.
