Netizens are speaking out on behalf of LE SSERAFIM‘s Sakura after watching her latest “FIM-LOG,” in which the LE SSERAFIM member’s candid comment about receiving an invitation to a Louis Vuitton event led fans to a surprising revelation.

Sakura has spent almost half of her life as an entertainer after she became one of the J-Pop group HKT48‘s first-generation members at just 13.

After becoming a member of the popular group IZ*ONE, and now a member of leading fourth-generation group LE SSERAFIM, Sakura established a strong and dedicated global fanbase.

As such, it’s understandable that Sakura, as well as her fellow trendsetting group members, are sought after by companies and brands for deals.

Sakura is frequently photographed wearing the luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton and has modeled for the brand on numerous occasions. LE SSERAFIM even attended Louis Vuitton’s 2023 Pre-Fall Fashion Show together in Seoul.

After the group’s appearance at the event, Lefty, an influencer marketing platform, named Sakura the “most visible influencer,” generating an estimated $849,000 USD in EMV (earned media value, a metric used to determine the value of a social media post).

While filming the recently released “FIM-LOG,” Sakura received her invitation to Louis Vuitton’s 2023 Pre-Fall Fashion Show.

As she excitedly showed the invitation to the camera, Sakura revealed that she had received invitations like that in the past but was never able to attend the events due to schedule conflicts. The caption noted that Sakura was invited but was unable to attend Louis Vuitton’s Paris event.

Instead of attending Louis Vuitton’s Paris Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2023 Women’s Collection show on March 6, 2023, Sakura was scheduled to film for LENIVERSE, LE SSERAFIM’s web variety show.

As a luxury fashion show held in one of the world’s fashion capitals is an experience that can lead to additional opportunities, global coverage, and recognition, FEARNOTs expressed their anger that Source Music would turn down the beneficial opportunity for Sakura instead of adjusting the LENIVERSE filming schedule or filming with four members instead.

While Sakura has officially modeled for Louis Vuitton on multiple occasions, there has been no official announcement naming her a brand ambassador, contributing to fans’ frustration that Source Music declined the opportunity for Sakura.

Many fans feel that Sakura is being mismanaged, with some expressing that they believe the talented star is being sabotaged. With her global influence evident, many feel the full potential of opportunities available to Sakura are not being explored or utilized.

With many concerns in mind, including fears that declining opportunities for Sakura will lead to fewer offers from brands, netizens are calling for more opportunities and individual schedules for Sakura. They’re calling for better treatment of the global star by Source Music.
