Lovelyz’s Mijoo Officially Responds To Dating Allegations With Sports Star

Lovelyz‘s Lee Mijoo has swiftly denied rumors of a romantic relationship with Hanwha Eagles baseball player Lee Jin Young.

On July 25, Mijoo’s agency Antenna stated that the two do not know each other.

“There is no truth to the dating rumors. The two do not even know each other.”

Earlier that day, Ten Asia had reported that the two were allegedly dating, calling them a “three-year age gap couple.” The outlet also noted that Mijoo, who hails from Okcheon, Chungcheongbuk-do, is a longtime fan of the Hanwha Eagles along with her entire family. She has thrown ceremonial first pitches for the team several times and even taken part in cheerleading.

Previously, in April 2023, Mijoo went public with her relationship with soccer player Song Bum Keun, who is three years younger.
