Stray Kids Have Nothing But The Utmost Praise For BLACKPINK And TWICE’s Music

They gave up on the “try not to sing and dance” challenge.

As part of their current promotions for Maxident, Stray Kids are going on various shows and YouTube channels to give their fans exciting content. For one of their many appearances, Stray Kids went on the REACT YouTube channel, where they played the “try not to sing and dance” challenge.

Throughout the video, Stray Kids showed their love for different musical artists, often choosing to lose the challenge in favor of being able to sing and dance along to some of their favorite songs.

Two songs Stray Kids were happy to lose the challenge to were BLACKPINK‘s “Pink Venom” and TWICE‘s “Scientist.”

When Stray Kids first heard “Pink Venom” start to play, most didn’t hesitate to sing and dance to the song immediately. In the end, only Lee Know and Seungmin could resist the song.

Some members even got jokingly upset that the staff didn’t play more of the song.

Changbin didn’t hold back in his praise for BLACKPINK, saying, “We have a lot to learn from them.” Which Bang Chan immediately agreed with. “You know, they have always come out with such fire music.”

And Felix added that “As soon as I heard [the song], it was over. You have to dance to it.

Han and Bang Chan both agreed, with Han even calling it “such a legendary song.” And Bang Chan explained that all of Stray Kids went “wow” when they heard it for the first time.

The group reacted similarly to TWICE’s “SCIENTIST,” with everyone but Seungmin losing the challenge immediately. However, even Seungmin gave up pretty quickly. According to Bang Chan, “There’s no choice for this one” except to sing and dance along.

Like with BLACKPINK’s song, Stray Kids even wished that the staff had played more of “SCIENTIST” since they enjoyed it so much.

Bang Chan explained that TWICE’s songs are so good because “They just have that catchiness to it. Ever since their first debut song.”

Changbin even shared that he got “a lot of energy while listening to this song” and TWICE’s “Cheer Up,” showing how much he connects to their music.

Han revealed that his favorite TWICE song is “Talk that Talk,” but he also likes “CRY FOR ME.”

Ultimately, Bang Chan explained that they had to sing along “Because it’s TWICE.”
