Stray Kids’ Han Gives Fans Spoilers About An Upcoming Song

Stray Kids recently uploaded a behind-the-scenes video of the beginning of their MANIAC tour in the United States. Fans were surprised by the upload because of the immediate inclusion of English subtitles, as usually, international fans have to wait a while before subtitles are added to the videos.

While the video was filled with Stray Kids’ usual humor and antics…

The members also showed how diligently they work on their music, even when performing overseas. Bang Chan and I.N spent some of their time in the hotel working on producing a song.

And Han was doing the same thing in his hotel room.

First, the idol took time to relax and watch a drama, explaining that he’s often inspired to work on his music “when [he hears] a good line.”

The cool thing about having all the [recording] equipment [with me] is, when I watch TV shows or when I hear a good line or when I’m feeling inspired I can work on music right away. I think that’s a good thing.

But once he’d finished the episode, he started to work on some new music that fans will hopefully get to hear in the future.

Han explains that he’s already made about ten songs with his new equipment.

Since I brought my personal equipment, I bought it around January or February, I made almost ten songs.

And he spoils the background of the song he’s currently working on, explaining that it was inspired by the K-Drama Another Miss Oh. The K-Drama focuses on the story of two women who share the same name, Oh Hae Young (played by Seo Hyun Jin and Jeon Hye Bin), and both women’s lives intersect with Park Do Kyun (played by Eric Mun).

A romanic television series about two women who not only share the same name Oh Hae Young but they also share a destiny with the same man, Park Do Kyung, who can see the future.

Han was particularly inspired by the romance in the drama, the idea of having love, but nothing else.

The background of the song I’m writing right now is… There’s the male lead of Another Miss Oh. He’s received a reminder or something. And he’s dating Oh Hae Young. And the thought crossed my mind. He finally started to love someone. But if everything you have is gone, it’d be really sad.

He even spoils a potential lyric based on the concept of the song.

The lyric that came to mind is ‘You’re the only one I have.’ So I’m going to write a song with this keyword.

Han admits that he doesn’t “know when this song will be released,” but fans can definitely anticipate what will be a heartbreakingly beautiful track.

And after working on the track for a while, Han shares one of the lyrics he wrote for the song.

Out of all the lyrics I’ve written my favorite is, ‘Wake me up, I wanna wake up from the dream of reality. Can’t you come with me?‘
