Super Junior Kyuhyun’s “The Classic” Achieves Success On The Charts

On the 20th, Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun released his EP The Classic, which immediately topped the iTunes Top Album charts in 10 countries and regions worldwide, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

Fueled by the passionate response from global fans, The Classic entered the worldwide iTunes album chart at number 9, proving Kyuhyun’s enduring popularity.

It also achieved remarkable success on domestic charts. The title track, “Like The First Snow” ranked first on Bugs’ real-time chart, reigniting interest in ballads. The song also entered the upper ranks of Melon’s HOT100 chart.

Listeners responded warmly to Kyuhyun’s signature ballads. Comments like “Kyuhyun’s season has come,” “The first song that comes to mind when the first snow falls,” “The song smells like winter,” “‘At Gwanghwamun’ for autumn, ‘Like The First Snow’ for winter,” and “It makes me wistful remembering first love,” created a broad consensus, raising expectations for further growth.

The Classic is Kyuhyun’s first new album in about a year since his full album COLORS released last November. Composed of five ballads with a classic feel, Kyuhyun skillfully conveyed the emotional lines of each track, delivering the inherent beauty of ballads.

Kyuhyun will make his first live performance of the new song “Like The First Snow” on KBS 2TV’s Music Bank airing this afternoon (the 21st). Fans anticipate a deeply resonant performance with Kyuhyun’s clean yet heartfelt vocals.

Following this, Kyuhyun will hold his solo concert 2025 Kyuhyun Concert “The Classic” for three days from December 19 to 21 at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul. The tickets sold out within five minutes, demonstrating Kyuhyun’s extraordinary ticket power. To repay the enthusiastic support, Kyuhyun plans to present a rich year-end experience to fans with an orchestral arrangement.
