SuperM Reportedly Has GRAMMY Nomination “Within Reach” — Here’s Why

Billboard made the predictions.

Billboard released their GRAMMY 2021 predictions on June 15.

Separated into three categories, they listed the artists most likely to receive a nomination into “Best Bets”, “Good Chance”, and “Within Reach”.

While some artists were notably snubbed, K-Pop has another contender in the form of SuperM.

Billboard listed SuperM as having a GRAMMY nomination “Within Reach” for the “Best New Artist” award.

Composed of members of Taemin of SHINeeKai and Baekhyun of EXO, Taeyong and Mark of NCT, and Ten and Lucas of WayV, they were slated as an Avengers Group of SM Entertainment since the start, having talented members from each of their boy groups.

Billboard noted that SuperM’s achievements as a new group gave them an edge over other artists.

SuperM has a chance of becoming the first K-pop group to be nominated in this category with its self-titled EP, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
