Last year, Jinny’s Kitchen, which beloved PD Na Young Suk helmed, focused on a Korean restaurant based in Mexico run by actor Lee Seo Jin. He was promoted after working for actress Yoon Yeo Jung (also romanized as Youn Yuh Jung). Wooga Squad besties Choi Woo Shik, Park Seo Joon, and BTS‘s V worked for him along with actress Jung Yu Mi.

On February 15, SPOTV News reported that the Jinny’s Kitchen cast would leave for Iceland in mid-March to begin filming for Season 2. The next day, a representative of tvN confirmed that the entire cast would return for the second season except for V, who is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service.

So, fans have wondered who would take our favorite intern’s place. Would we get another Wooga Squad member, such as Park Hyung Sik or Peakboy?

There are now reports on who the new cast intern is, and it’s a fan-favorite from Netflix‘s hit K-Drama Sweet Home.

STARNEWS reported on February 20 that actress Go Min Si received an offer to join the Jinny’s Kitchen cast. Since its filming schedule has been confirmed, they are reportedly in negotiations regarding her schedule. Last season, Woo Shik joined the rest of the cast later due to another overseas schedule.

TvN responded to the reports, telling Daily Sports that nothing is confirmed yet. If Go Min Si joins the cast, she will be the youngest Jinny’s Kitchen intern after V, as they are both 95-liners.

We ask for your understanding that we cannot confirm it for a safe and smooth filming schedule.
