BL Actors Make Fans Kneel During Fan Sign Event— Triggers Massive Backlash
Recently, an online community post went viral regarding a fan meeting held in Korea by popular Thai actors.
The post revealed that the fan meeting revived the “kneeling fan sign” tradition that disappeared 10 years ago.

They added that the agency, not knowing it was a problem, uploaded it as is and was severely criticized for it.
However, the real problem was that even though the fan sign event was scheduled to start, they reportedly kept the fans waiting, saying they were tired and went out to eat dessert.
Due to this, the staff had to set a timer as they quickly finished the autograph session for 30 people in 20 minutes.
But it didn’t end there. Even though they were in Korea for a fan meeting, the actors uploaded various photos to social media accounts, referring to Japan and wearing yukatas.

Finally, a few days after the fan meeting, a Korean fan, unable to bear it any longer, protested, “Are you here to promote Japan?”
With this, the actors suddenly all posted messages online as if it were planned.

Thanks, everyone, for coming out to see us. It was our first time in Korea, and we had a great time. We hope you all are happy with us.

K-Netizens, although furious, had nothing to say as they had no idea who they were.

- “I don’t even know who they are, but this is too much. I don’t think their fans will stay fans after this.”
- “Who brought them here?”
- “If I were a fan, I would’ve left the fandom immediately.”
- “Can’t believe a bunch of nugus even have fans.”
- “Thailand sucks up to Japan as much as Taiwan does, and these days anti-Korean sentiment is really bad…can’t believe people actually stan Thai actors…”
- “Looks like a bunch of BL drama actors from Thailand.”
- “Who are they, though?”
- “Who are these nugus?
However, not long after, they released an apology statement online.

What are your thoughts on this?
