Top South Korean Actor Exposed For Abusing Girlfriend, Spreading STDs And More

Musical actor Jeon Ho Jun is under fire after being publicly accused of physical assault and financial exploitation by his ex-girlfriend, known to the media as A, who posted a lengthy and graphic account on an online community forum.
On May 24, A posted on DC Inside’s musical and theater gallery under the title: “Musical actor Jeon Ho Jun assaulted me—three weeks of recovery. Please help.” She included her Instagram handle, urging users to read her stories and spread awareness.
On her social media, A directly tagged Jeon’s account and alleged that she suffered physical abuse during their relationship.

She also uploaded multiple photos of bruises on her body, claiming they were the result of violent encounters with the actor.
According to A, she financially supported Jeon throughout their relationship, covering everything from coffee truck support for his performances to paying for every date. She alleged that Jeon received over ₩10.0 million KRW (about $7,320 USD) worth in items from her under the guise that he planned to marry her, including purchases like a smartphone, luxury scarves, and a necklace.
She also claimed to have paid ₩5.00 million KRW (about $3,660 USD) for a trip to Thailand, including airfare, accommodation, and expenses for 10 days — all by herself. A further alleged that she contracted herpes from him and suffered a miscarriage. She also added that she even paid Jeon ₩1.00 million KRW (about $732 USD) monthly in cash for Pilates classes to help him out.
Describing a violent episode, A recounted that he had returned home drunk and strangled her as soon as he came back.
“After losing contact with him after 9 pm, he returned home around 2 am. He was drunk and I went to open the door as I heard him coming in. He strangled me the moment I opened the door, grabbed my hair, and slammed me to the floor. He pressed his knees into my chest and continued choking me. When I begged for mercy and tried to escape, he slapped me and strangled me again. I hit him back in self-defense, causing him to bleed. That’s when he snapped, said he wouldn’t let me off, and used my phone to call the police. Because he was bleeding, it turned into a mutual assault case.”
She added that although she initially said she didn’t want to press charges, hoping to end the relationship through conversation, Jeon blocked her and hired a lawyer, refusing any further communication. A also shared a text message from Jeon asking her to stop posting on Instagram. A concluded by stating that despite threats of counter-lawsuits for defamation, she’s determined to speak out as she is unable to stand the sight of him preparing for another musical without any consequences.
Jeon Ho Jun debuted in 2007 with the musical Notre-Dame de Paris and is known for roles in productions like Kinky Boots, Wicked, Cats, and Chicago. He is considered a top musical actor in South Korea. He has not yet issued a public statement regarding the allegations.
