Two veteran actresses are drawing attention after candidly sharing shocking experiences they allegedly faced early in their careers.
During a recent appearance on the talk show The Wonder Women, actresses Rachel Kan and Christine Ng opened up about encounters with predatory men in the entertainment industry.
Rachel Kan, who entered the industry in 2001, recalled an incident that allegedly occurred while filming a travel program overseas as a rookie actress. According to Rachel, the cast and crew were on a boat during a break in filming when a man sitting beside her suddenly placed his hand inside her pants without consent.
The actress admitted that she felt powerless at the time and was too afraid to confront him directly. Instead, she quietly excused herself and hid in the bathroom. While recounting the incident, Rachel chose not to reveal the man’s identity, explaining that doing so would make it easy for the public to determine who he was.

The situation allegedly escalated later that evening. Rachel claimed that when she returned to her hotel, the same man and another individual insisted on accompanying her back to her room. She recalled that one of them attempted to kiss her outside her door, prompting her to immediately push him away and lock herself inside.
Rachel further revealed that she never received another travel program opportunity after the incident.
Host Christine Ng then shared a similar experience from her own career. According to Christine, she once attended a dinner gathering with fellow actors and colleagues when one male actor allegedly pretended to be intoxicated before getting into her taxi. During the ride, he reportedly attempted to kiss her, causing her to rush back to her hotel room as soon as she arrived.
Christine said the actor later continued interacting with her at work as though nothing had happened.
Expressing her disgust over the incident, she bluntly described him as “a real scumbag.” Their stories have sparked discussion online, with many netizens praising the actresses for speaking openly about experiences that were often kept hidden within the entertainment industry.
