Top Female Idol Gets Accused Of Plastic Surgery After Lying About Her Weight
A top female K-Pop idol was accused of plastic surgery after she was not completely truthful about her weight loss.
On the 26th, a video titled “What kind of management does Soyou do I’ll tell you everything” was posted on the YouTube, featuring original SISTAR member Soyou.

In the video, Soyou said, “Many people asked me a lot about ‘how I manage my skin and body,’” and shared her own management method.
Soyou, who said she became aware of management in October 2024, said, “I was told about it while going to the dermatologist. Since I was 25, I have been consistently receiving Ulthera lifting once a year,” adding, “Since early last year, I have been getting dermatological care once a month. I made sure to get toning.”
She went on to say, “After losing weight, there were rumors about plastic surgery. At that time, my doctor told me, ‘Why don’t you sue them?’ Because the doctor sees my face once a month, they know every story of my face,” she laughed.

Especially regarding the change in her face shape, Soyou candidly revealed, “My current weight is 49kg. My maximum weight before dieting was 68kg,” and laughed, saying, “Everyone thinks I lost 10kg, but to be precise, I lost 20kg. Wouldn’t your face change then or not?”
She explained, “The reason I didn’t tell anyone I was 68kg was that I was ashamed of myself,” adding, “I was shocked and worked hard to lose it. Between April last year and 56kg, the weight wouldn’t go down. I struggled, then lost muscle mass. I increased the amount of aerobic exercise.
