A recent episode of You Quiz on the Block featured members of a top K-Pop group, who confessed their true feelings of being assigned limited parts in songs.
Girls’ Generation members Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sooyoung have recently gained popularity as the trio “Hyorisoo.” They shared their regrets about having few singing parts. Hyoyeon recalled that, instead of singing parts, she used to dance during past performances. Sooyoung mentioned that when they appeared on public broadcast in the past, she shared her limited parts with Hyoyeon.
Sooyoung said she had to practice a lot as a trainee, and the position assigned then stayed the same for 20 years. She added, “Looking at the parts is quite disappointing.” She also said she ambitiously tried to change parts but ended up with rap again.
The three confidently said, “We sing well.” Hyoyeon said that by the time the show aired, the main vocalist would be determined. According to a member vote, Hyoyeon was chosen as the main vocalist.
