T.O.P’s Official Military Service Date Announced

He has 403 days left to serve.

BIGBANG‘s T.O.P is returning to serve his mandatory military service as a social worker. January 26 will be the official comeback date after being involved in his marijuana scandal with Han Seo Hee.

The location of his public service will be in the Yongsan-Gu neighborhood, near his home.

Yongsan-Gu Social Office officially announced the news, confirming T.O.P’s return to his service to the press.

The date was decided by the public sector office. On that day, T.O.P will be inducted immediately and be assigned to his role.

After being embroiled in the drug use controversy, T.O.P has been resting at home and meeting with acquaintances, laying low from the public eye.

BIGBANG’s most recent concerts at the Gocheok Sky Dome, in Seoul, were held without T.O.P in attendance, which was a first for the group.

The Military Manpower Administration of Korea will recognize the service he’s done so far at his previous station, prior to the scandal.

So far, he has served from February 9, 2017, to June 5, 2017, a total of 117 days. To fully complete his military service, T.O.P has to be stationed at the public office for 520 days before returning to civilian life.
