Top-Tier Actor Arrested On Site Over Sexual Assault Allegations

A well-known male musical actor in South Korea is under investigation after being accused of sexual assault. Authorities confirmed that the performer was arrested at the scene, and the case has since been sent to prosecutors.

According to local reports, the Seoul Bangbae Police Station investigated the actor on charges of quasi-rape by abuse of authority. After reviewing the case, police forwarded it to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office last month, recommending indictment.

The alleged incident reportedly took place in Seoul last year. The victim contacted emergency services, prompting a response from the 112 emergency call center. Officers were dispatched to the location and detained the actor at the scene shortly after the report was made.

Police later launched a full investigation, gathering statements and reviewing evidence related to the case. During questioning, the actor reportedly strongly denied the accusations. Despite this, investigators determined that the allegations were credible enough to send the case to prosecutors.
