Former SISTAR member and powerhouse vocalist Soyou is turning heads with her dramatically transformed figure— and it’s all thanks to a simple, protein-packed dish she swears by.

Appearing on the July 19 episode of SBS PowerFM’s 2 O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show, Soyou revealed that she’s lost a staggering 10kg since the start of the year.

“I started dieting with a plan in January, and things really picked up from June. The weight just kept coming off.”

Her secret weapon? A high-protein, low-calorie dish she calls the “Cucumber Boat.”

“This fills you up even if you eat just a little. If you eat this, you’ll definitely lose weight.”

Soyou previously shared the full recipe on her YouTube channel Soyougi, where she demonstrated how to make the trendy diet food. The method is simple: scoop out the center of a cucumber, fill it with shredded chicken breast mixed in a flavorful, healthy sauce, and enjoy.

The sauce is made with one spoon each of peanut sauce, dark soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, and Chinese vinegar, plus three spoons of perilla powder—a fiber-rich superfood known for supporting satiety and fat burning thanks to its omega-3 content.

Cucumber, with over 90% water content and only about 12–13 kcal per 100g, adds volume without calories. Chicken breast provides around 23g of protein per 100g, supporting muscle maintenance and metabolism during weight loss.

With fans shocked by her slimmed-down appearance, many are now eyeing the Cucumber Boat as the next viral K-celebrity diet trend.
