In the video, Zion. T candidly talked about the mental load he has to bear as a performer. Dr. Jung asked him if he felt depressed or experienced an emotional crash once the glamour of the stage and the moments of raging dopamine were over after a performance. He responded, confessing that he indeed struggled with things like that.

Zion. T then recalled his younger years when he would even suffer from hallucinations.

When I was younger, I experienced things like that. I sometimes even heard hallucinations and had mild panic episodes.

In order to heal from these conditions, he had to follow some extreme remedies, such as completely blocking out external noise and minimizing all activity before performances.

I started putting on headphones and cutting off outside noise, doing absolutely nothing right up until the moment before going on stage—just listening to quiet jazz or similar music.

Dr. Jung sympathized with the singer, adding that he himself has battled with such symptoms.

Zion. T added that half-body baths were also helpful. “While draining the water, I submerge myself and hold my breath. I try to hold it until the water is completely gone. When I finally exhale and breathe again, it feels like being born again,” the singer revealed, stating that this process helped him reset his mind.

Zion. T’s story has highlighted the lesser-known struggles that a life in the public eye can bring to any individual.
