In deeply saddening news, it was reported that TWS Jihoon‘s father has passed away. His agency announced the matter via Weverse on January 12, 2026.
Jihoon’s father passed on the evening of January 11, and is said to have been battling an illness. Jihoon is currently in mourning with his family.
The funeral will be held with only family and close relatives. Pledis Entertainment requested fans for their love and support for Jihoon, asking that he gets sufficient time to mourn with his family.
TWS debuted on January 22, 2024. They are soon approaching their one year anniversary. Jihoon serves as the second youngest member and is highly skilled in dance. Our condolences go out to the star in this time of grief.
