They had a simple message for haters in a live broadcast after the show.

… and then their fierce side took over on stage as they gave another legendary performance.

TXT’s Yeonjun performed a dance medley to Watermelon Squad bestie Jessi‘s “ZOOM,” BLACKPINK‘s “Shut Down,” and BTS‘s “Run BTS” that quickly went viral. He also performed PSY’s “That That” (prod. by and featuring BTS’s Suga) with fellow top 4th-gen group ATEEZ.

For TXT’s group performance, they wowed the audience with a performance of their hit song “Good Boy Gone Bad” and owned a cover of their senior labelmates, BTS‘s “DNA.”

Because of TXT’s impressive ability to maintain stable vocals during their high-energy live performances, netizens have often questioned whether their vocals were really live or if they were “lip-syncing,” even from their debut music show performance. They’ve also consistently proven those netizens wrong.

These allegations have made their way to TXT, and it’s only fueled their performances even more as they continue to shut down malicious comments.

TXT proved their mics were on during their 2022 SBS Gayo Daejeon performances and addressed their live vocals in an iconic way during a broadcast with fans after the show.

During their Weverse live broadcast after the event, Hueningkai stated that he might have overdone his live vocals, as he could be heard singing certain parts loudly during their stage, hyping up the crowd and proving their mics were on.

Taehyun kindly disagreed, sharing that he liked Hueningkai’s energy because it delivered their live vocals well.

Yeonjun then iconically shut down the “lip-sync” allegations by stating MOAs know the truth, that they perform live.

Not only did they have an impressive performance, but they also dressed to impress at the 2022 SBS Gayo Daejeon.
