TXT Made Billboard History With The Longest Charting K-Pop Album Of The Year And Joined BTS’s Record

They are dominating multiple charts steadily!

TXT‘s mini album Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child has become the only K-Pop album in 2022 to chart for 12 consecutive weeks on Billboard 200 chart! The album debuted at No.4 in May 2022, and is still going steady at No. 157 currently.

Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child was already the longest charting K-Pop album on Billboard 200 this year, followed by  BTS‘s Proof which has been charting for 8 consecutive weeks.

With this new record, TXT have also become the second K-Pop artist, following their sunbaes BTS, to have multiple albums chart for 12 weeks each on the Billboard chartThe group achieved this milestone once previously with their The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE in 2021 that charted for 13 weeks straight!

Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child was also the first K-Pop album in 2022 to spend 4 consecutive weeks in the Top 60 of the Billboard 200 chart. TXT have also been maintaining their steady hold on other Billboard charts, including Billboard Artist 100, World Albums, Top Current Album Sales, and Top Album Sales.
