TXT’s Taehyun Is The Biggest Fanboy Of BTS’s J-Hope Following J. Cole Collab Announcement

Taehyun is literally J-Hope’s biggest fan!

BTS‘s J-Hope recently announced that he would be releasing a farewell song for ARMYs, “on the street,” ahead of his mandatory military enlistment.

Hello,

This is BIGHIT MUSIC.

We are happy to inform you that BTS member J-Hope will be releasing a solo single ‘on the street’.

J-Hope wrote the track to share his candid feelings toward his fans. The title ‘on the street’ refers to J-Hope’s roots—street dance—from which his dream to become an artist began, and the path the artist and fans will continue to walk together.

We hope that J-Hope’s ‘on the street’ serves as a meaningful gift to everyone who supports the artist. Please look forward to J-Hope’s new song!

He also shocked ARMYs by revealing that his longtime idol, American rapper and record producer J. Cole would be the featured artist on the track. BTS have been inspired by J. Cole throughout the years and even recorded their own version of J. Cole’s hit song “Born Sinner” called “Born Singer.”

J-Hope finally met his idol J. Cole during 2022 Lollapalooza. They briefly chatted, and J-Hope told J. Cole what a big fan he was and that he was his muse.

So, we can only imagine what J-Hope is feeling collaborating with his “muse” after all these years, especially on such an important song. ARMYs have reacted to the exciting news on social media, and we can’t be happier for J-Hope!

One of these ARMYs is J-Hope’s very own labelmate TXT‘s Taehyun.

After the teaser trailer for “on the street,” featuring J. Cole, was released, Taehyun reacted by sharing the link on Weverse. His reaction couldn’t be more relatable, either.

Taehyun proved to be a true fan, expressing that he felt overwhelmed seeing J-Hope and J. Cole together, especially knowing how much J. Cole has inspired J-Hope. He referenced a trot song, “Bumble Bee,” which includes lyrics, “I’m tired now, bumble bee bumble bee.”

Taehyun has often expressed how much he loves J-Hope. Even before debuting in TXT, Taehyun was as much an ARMY as any of us!

With J-Hope now collaborating with his favorite artist, we imagine that someday Taehyun will collaborate with J-Hope!
