"I Would’ve Really Died..." TXT's Taehyun Reveals A Shocking Story About The Group's "Dangerous" Living Conditions As Trainees

Recently, TXT‘s Taehyun shared a shocking story about his trainee dorm life that netizens couldn’t believe.

On September 21 (KST), Soobin, Taehyun, and Heuningkai did a live broadcast, and it gained attention for sharing some horrific pre-debut stories.

Taehyun shocked fans by revealing something truly horrific about their time in their old dorm. While it might have been during a time when HYBE (former BigHit Entertainment) didn’t have the same funds, it was still unexpected.

During the broadcast, Taehyun shared a story about an electric shock, even explaining, “I’m telling you, I’m still too scared to even touch here just in case something happens [again].

Taehyun explained that when they were trainees, they were living at a dorm, and the back of an extension cord was broken.

As Taehyun recalled the story, the other members obviously remembered what he was talking about as they both explained just how “dangerous” it was.

Taehyun recalled that one day, Taehyun just grabbed it and explained that if it wasn’t for another older trainee and Younite‘s Eunho, he would’ve died.

Although it seemed dramatic, Taehyun’s tone really emphasized the seriousness as he emphasized, “I would’ve really died. The both of them really helped me.”

After the live broadcast, it wasn’t surprising that netizens couldn’t hide their anger at the conditions TXT had to live in, and especially how it still impacts Taehyun to this day.

truly started sobbing after taehyun's story of him getting electrocuted :( i'm glad that there were people there to help him and that he's okay now because i really couldn't imagine not being his fan in any lifetime of mine :(

Many hope that conditions for trainees are much better, but the TXT aren’t the first idols to share the atrocities of their living conditions before debuting.
