TXT’s Official Fandom Name Might Need To Be Changed, Here’s Why

Fans worry that TXT’s fandom name could cause misunderstandings.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) recently announced their official fandom name, but fans are now wondering if they’ll soon be “nameless” again.

On April 25, TXT revealed that their official fan club is “YOUNG ONE”. Over a 2-week period, fans submitted names for consideration, which were all read and taken into consideration by TXT’s members. In the end, the members all agreed on “YOUNG ONE”.

In Korean, “YOUNG ONE” translates to “forever”. The number zero is also pronounced as “young”, which gives the fandom name a very sweet meaning; “We were nothing (0), and then we became one.”

TXT fans were thrilled to finally have a name of their own, until they realized it wasn’t a name of their own. “YOUNG ONE” also happens to be the name of Tiffany Young‘s fandom.

“Young Ones because it means forever, and you guys are my forevers.”

TXT’s YOUNG ONEs are now wondering if they will be renamed in the near future.

Although many of these fans don’t mind sharing a fandom name with Tiffany Young’s fans, some worry that it could cause a misunderstanding that may lead to plagiarism accusations.

TXT’s YOUNG ONEs have been emailing Big Hit Entertainment about the situation and are hoping to receive an official statement.
