TXT’s “Good Boy Gone Bad” Hits Milestone On Spotify

TXT has reached another milestone on Spotify.

According to the global audio and music streaming platform, TXT’s “Good Boy Gone Bad” surpassed 200 million streams as of the 4th. Excluding featured tracks, this is their seventh song to reach 200 million streams.

“Good Boy Gone Bad” is the title track of their 4th mini-album released in 2022, Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child. With a hardcore hip hop genre, it portrays a boy who darkens after the end of what felt like an everlasting first love. The song honestly expresses complex emotions such as confusion, sadness, and anger after a breakup, resonating with listeners and becoming known as a “Gen Z breakup anthem.”

The album, which all members participated in creating, was also widely loved. Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child entered the U.S. Billboard main album chart, the Billboard 200, at number 4 and remained on the chart for 14 consecutive weeks, showcasing its global impact. It was also selected among Billboard’s “Top 50 Best Albums of 2022” as chosen by the staff.

Additionally, TXT holds a total of 17 songs with over 100 million streams on Spotify, including “0x1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) feat. Seori,” which has surpassed 300 million streams.
