The Veteran Korean Actor Going Viral For His Reaction To The Huge Crowds At Incheon Airport Because Of Idols’ Overseas Schedules
Incheon Airport always seems to be full of fans and reporters waiting for idols to arrive for overseas schedules.
On July 7, it seemed to be extra busy as idols, including IVE, ATEEZ, LE SSERAFIM, TREASURE, and many more, all arrived at the iconic airport to travel overseas.
While idols are always used to huge crowds, it seems like one veteran actor wasn’t expecting it. On July 7 (KST), along with all the idols attending various schedules, actor Kim Nam Gil was another star at Incheon Airport.
Like IVE, he was also traveling to Thailand but seemingly wasn’t expecting the airport to be so busy for all the idols. As soon as he got out of the car, Kim Nam Gil seemed taken aback by the number of reporters that were waiting for him.
Hilariously, as he continued walking, he even hid behind the pillar because he was so surprised by the crowds, even seemingly asking his bodyguards what was happening.
Even as he walked towards the airport, he seemed confused and shy as he started waving to the media. Although he’s a huge star, the extent of crowds for idols is always astonishing and can resemble a concert, especially if it’s a busy day.
Even in the media photos, it was clear that the actor’s emotions changed from shocked, to confused, and then he slowly began to get back into the swing of it.
Along with becoming a huge topic on Korean forums, even international netizens couldn’t get enough of Kim Nam Gil’s reaction.

Many even joked that considering he’s BFFs with BTS‘s Jin, Kim Nam Gil shouldn’t be too shocked by seeing crowds for idols!
In particular, when he was made aware that he was on the same flight as IVE, he showcased his manners when he revealed that he wanted to meet the idols. Yet, he also acknowledged that it would be uncomfortable for the girls if he just started talking to them.
